Wonderful Life

Hello and thanks for calling in,  it's all change here - 3 days of thunder and lightening, torrential rain and strong winds and it's very cold today but I'm not complaining too much.  I spent yesterday afternoon getting messy and some of it was a mess as I think my inspiration as gone AWOL!

So something simple, an inky background that was made a couple of weeks ago, teamed up with some die cut wildflowers and stamped one of my favourite TH quotes.

I'm entering this at Country View Crafts - In the Summer Garden (the sky in my garden looks like this)

Just a short post as I've been such a neglectful blogger lately and I really need to catch up and shame my inspiration to return.

Avril xx

isn't this dreadful weather fabulous, I've managed to get some crafty play this weekend now it's cool enough to enter my craftroom. Lovely card to get you back in the swing of things

Its a lovely card Avril. I think we have all been suffering the missing inspiration, I blame the heat but, like you, we have had some very heavy (much needed) rain since Friday, only distant rumbles of thunder and a couple of lightening flashes.

LOL, Avril - sounds just like what I said yesterday - I seemed to make a mess of half of what I did and had no inspiration for anything different, other than simple. Must be a symptom of too much heat ;-) I did better today, so I'm sure you will!

And it's a lovely card... beautiful, in fact. I love the colours you used and that's one of my favourite sayings!

Have a great week.

This is a beautiful card Avril! Love the quote! It has cooled down a little here, although yesterday in town with grandchildren was quite hot! We had fun looking at the bee sculptures around for 'Bees In the City' I am also behind with blog catch ups as you can see! Hugs, Chrisx
