First Anniversary at FSC and its 'Anything Goes'

Can you believe Fashionable Stamping Challenges has been running for 1 year! Our First Anniversary and to Celebrate the challenge is 'Anything Goes'

The DT have made some stunning 'creations' , so please pop over and take a look. As usual we are sponsored by Marina of Cottage Crafts who is offering the winner a prize.

For my piece - I have seen quite a few 'faux book' cards and wanted to try  one myself, I followed this video on UTube.  and this is what I made this for DD's Birthday on Saturday, not that I really needed an excuse,   The front cover is  JustRite Fleuriste Newsprint, I saw this stamp used on a card made by Joan and thought it would be perfect for the front.
I wanted to have her name on the front - like an old book, so I masked off the lovely wording in the centre and used Rub Ons - Sacrilege - I know!
The front is distressed with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo, the scroll  is coloured with a Gold metallic Promarker.
The images inside are all Crafty Individuals and the lovely sewing paper is  MME Lost and Found, and all edges are distressed with Vintage Photo.  A lot of work, but I really enjoyed making this.

I hope you will join us to Celebrate our 1st Anniversary over at FSC and show us YOUR creations.

I am entering this at:

Fussy & Fancy - Vintage (with distressing and lace)
Phindys Place Friday Challenge - Buttons
  Poodles Parlour - Anything Goes
The Stamp Man - Anything Goes/Celebration
Its All About the Vintage -Anything Goes
  Crafty Creations - Buttons
Crafts & Me - Anything Goes
  Tuesday Alchemy - Very Vintage

That's it for now and thanks for looking

Avril xx
