Hello, well I'm back after a lovely relaxing holiday, and I would like to say Thank you for all the lovely comments on the last 2 scheduled posts, I do appreciate it, and I also have a couple of new followers, so 'Hello' to you, it's lovely that you should want to follow my crafty journey, not that it's been 'going ' anywhere lately, due to 'life' stuff getting in the way. I did manage to do some catching up on some of your blogs while I was away - before my glasses broke! and of course they were 3 weeks out of guarantee, so I'm struggling on with some cheapie readers until my 'new' ones are ready next week.
I haven't managed any crafting - even though I did have some new stamps waiting on the mat when I returned, so thought I'd share this card which I didn't have time to blog before the holiday.
A Brusho background with some random script stamping and stencilling, a piece of the Tim Holtz Mixed media die cut which was rubbed with Creative Expressions Enchanted Gold wax. My butterfly, also has a vellum layer. The TH sentiment was stamped with Faded Jeans DI and clear embossed and the torn edges rubbed with the EG wax.
I am entering this at:
Country View Crafts - Shabby Chic
Make my Monday - Dry or Heat Embossing (both on my card)
The Craft Barn - Butterflies
Stamping Sensations - Dies and punches
That's it for now, hopefully I will get some crafty time to ink these rubber stamps up now that all the washing and ironing is done. Thanks for visiting,
Avril xx
