Hello - nothing for weeks and then 2 posts! Well I had to be quick with this one as I am just squeezing in with Artistic Outpost's September Show us Your Art. I've had these bits on my desk just waiting to be put together, but couldn't remember where I put my stash of corrugated card when I did my craftroom revamp, fortunately a parcel arrived yesterday and I couldn't wait to open it so I could have the box and finish the card!
I am also entering this at:
Vintage Stamping Challenge - Tic Tac Toe (top line - Twine (on the little tag), Vintage tones and people).
Thanks for visiting, I do appreciate it,
Avril xx
Fabulous! Love the different textures on those layers, the perfect backdrop for that gorgeous boy!
ReplyDeleteWonderful piece and I love the idea of chocolate! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteLosing your corrugated Avril - how awful !! But I think mu hubby would be more than a little pleased if mine disappeared. So pleased you had a parcel to enable you to make this lovely creation.

Oh I love this, so creative Avril.....as for the missing card, why is it every time we clear up or sort out, we can never find things...haha....strange days.....have a nice day...xx
ReplyDeleteCompletely in love with this, Avril - the shabby chic layers and the fabulous shades of chocolaty coffee browns - brilliant use of the AO image... altogether a delight.

Fabulous creation dear Avril. I like how you combined all these different papers and the nice little buttons. I live in Germany next to the dutch border and we buy Van Houten Cocoa for our cakes or to make a strong drink chocolate.
ReplyDeleteNice idea to use this old advertising from Van Houten. Thanks for stopping at my blog and your dear comment.
All the best to you and your loved ones.
Greetings
Sabine

ReplyDeleteGorgeous tag! Love the distressed/grungy look and Vintage feel of the tag as well as that lovely stamped image. Thank you so much for playing our Tic Tac Toe game this month at Vintage Stamping Challenges.
ReplyDeleteLovely piece. Waiting for the box made me chuckle. Hugz
ReplyDeleteBeautiful make, Avril. I like the layers you have created behind image and colors are so perfect for this vintage card. Love love love!
ReplyDeleteI've been craving for chocolate the whole day, this surely did not help, lol. But it's a beautiful vintage design. I love doing vintage and masculine, but find it hard to combine the two. This looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteWonderful Avril -- what a great job you did designing this - I could never put this many things together and have it look good and your card sure does look good!

This looks super duper Avril. What are you like I can picture you tearing at the parcel just to get to the corrugated.
ReplyDeleteAlso thanks for sharing with us at VSC.
