I've got a mounting stack of boxes that DD keeps saving for me, so I decided on a pretty makeover for this challenge.
I added strips of lace, flowers and bits from the 'box', plus some embossing with a couple of stencils, when it was dry, I gave it a coat of Gesso. It was coloured with Distress stains in Chipped Sapphire,Victorian Velvet, Milled Lavender, and Tumbled Glass. When it was dry I added a couple of shades of gilding wax and a quick spritz of Biscotti Perfect Pearls.
This is a scheduled post again, but hopefully I'm relaxing in the sunshine, and when I get too hot, I'll look for some shade and do some blog hopping,
