Hello and thanks for your visit, it's my turn to post on the Artistic Outpost blog and today I'm showcasing the Harvest set of stamps, along with the Grunge Elements, from the March New Release, and this handsome, but today for a fun take on the image with the quote, I think he looks rather petulant. For all the details, please pop over to the AO blog.

Beautiful artwork as always. Have a great day Shirleyxx
ReplyDeleteQuite an interesting card that tells its own story. I just finished reading a mystery series written by Anne Perry about William and Hester Monk living near the Thames in London during the 1800s. They have more or less adopted a little boy name Scuff who was living on his own down on the wharf. All that to say I immediately thought of Scuff when I saw your card. Needless to say, I really like your card.

He's a rather serious looking young man Avril, but I very much like the way you have used him the the frame with the background.

Avril, This is an absolute gem! I so love the expression on his face because he surely looks as though he would rather be on his farm. Brilliant!

ReplyDeleteYou've achieved a fun look combining these images and sentiment. I really like this kind of masculine vintage style with a humorous twist....
