Timeless

Hello, and thanks for your visit today.  As regular visitors will know, I've always been a sucker for vintage and vintage ladies and when I saw the new release of Valerie and Elsie from IndigoBlu, I was sorely tempted, but resisted, as I do have a few and some do need inking up, so neglected!  Anyhow a few weeks ago Shirley from FSC did a couple of pieces using them and, well .....
Elsie is having her first outing, stamped onto tissue, torn and layered onto a tag from a play day with DecoArt crackle paste.  I've used Antique linen and Vintage photo Distress sprays which settled beautifully into the cracks.  My little flowers are the tiny tattered florals.
I am entering this at:
  Creative Artiste - Anything Goes

We actually had some sunshine late yesterday, so let's hope there's a bit more today, fingers crossed.
Avril xx

  4. This us ultra feminine and gorgeous. The stenciled part, flowers and lace are lovely touches, I love how you designed this vintage piece.

So sorry my visits have been a bit irregular lately, MIL was here 5 nights from mid May, the following weekend my parents spent with us in Oslo and have just now completed a trip to celebrate hubby's sisters' (twins) 50th birthday. 1000 km driving in two days. Weekdays spent at work and outdoors. Soon going on holiday, but things will get back to normal again in July:) I'll be around as much as I can for the rest of this month.

  6. Avril, you've done Elsie proud, she looks absolutely amazing! The background that you've created reminds me of Flock wallpaper and the vintage colours and touch of lace are just perfect. She's such a gorgeous stamp and I bet we see her a lot in future. Take care and enjoy the rest of your evening. Crafty hugs, Sandra x

  20. Fabulous tag Avril, can see why you could not resist the temptation! I keep saying, no more stamps and then somehow my finger hits the buy now button. We're having glorious weather right now, done lots of catching up in the garden and right now I'm supposedly shampooing the carpets but I'm sat in the garden with a cup if tea and the chocolate biscuits?
