Book Pages

Hello,  time to tell you about the new challenge at Try it on Tuesday which this fortnight is Book Pages.
My book page was distressed and stitched onto a piece of scrap  pink paper, along with a piece of script embossed vellum that was in the bits box.  The printed linen was bought ages ago and this is the first time I've used any, I thought it made a nice base for my little flower arrangement.
DD bought me some lovely wooden frames a while ago, and I gave this one a coat of gesso and some crackle glaze.  Most of the pictures I have are too large to fit inside, so I reduced the size of a Tim Holtz Found Relative picture to fit, and a couple of stamped words to finish.
Can you tell I am trying to use up some more leftovers!
The rest of the DT have some fabulous inspiration for you, so please pop over here, where you will also find all the details.
Thanks for visiting, I do appreciate it and I'm sorry I've been such an absent blogger lately, but sometimes 'real life' gets in the way, but fingers crossed.....
Avril xx
