Young Dreams


Hello and thanks for calling in, well I've gone back to my love of vintage to get the creative mojo started again.   This was going to be a tag, but as I've got a few birthdays coming up, it ended up as a DL card,  I quite like this size.

The background was created with a new to me Tim Holtz Nordic background stamp, I've got the stencil, but I love this smaller pattern.
I couldn't find a suitable size picture in the Found Relatives pack so after a little internet search,  I found this lovely young girl,  resized her and printed out onto photo paper.
A few bits and pieces from my stash and some Wildflower die cuts tied with string.

Hopefully, there might be some more crafting tomorrow as no one's coming for lunch, easy day.

    Beautiful Avril. Love the background, the neutral tones work so well for the vintage image you used as a focal piece. The strip of lace is lovely and I adore that doily tucked in the back! A wonderful aged looking creation!! have a great week :)

    A rare card shape, but I do love how different it looks. It's still just one fold and nothing fussy about it, but it has impact. And the shape of the image suits the card shape too. I've got that background stamp, used it a few times and people mistake it for a DP. I haven't used it with brown ink yet, but white EP on Kraft card stock, love how it looks.
