I've used one of my backgrounds made with white embossing and Oxide inks. The globe die was coloured with DIs and then gently brushed with bronze perfect pearls for a subtle sheen. I stamped the trunk, an old Chocolate Baroque stamp, with Vintage Sepia Versamark and heat set with clear EP.
The quote was computer printed.
Fab card Avril, you do this style of card so beautifully. Love the boy sitting on the trunk. I'm still struggling with the virus I've had since before Christmas so just starting to get back into crafting.

ReplyDeleteOh yes - I love this! Brilliant layering of the elements, and that little chap looks so at home perched on his travel trunk. Great vintage card. Sorry I've had an absent January... I hope to do better!

Wonderful card! I love the EP and oxide background, the globe die and stamps that you used - amazing 😁. Wishing you a happy new week! J 😊
ReplyDeleteI love how you've incorporated the globe die cut here and it suits the theme of the paper doll with the suitcases he's sitting on. Great as a birthday card or for even for wishing someone a good travel too, very versatile.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a fab male card - in some ways I think vintage and male can be so hard to make - no flowers to rely on lol. i love that globe xx
ReplyDeleteYou played very good my Dear, your card looks gorgeous. I like the Vintage figures from Tim Holtz very much, always a good decoration element.
