Powder Your.......

Hello, it's time for another new challenge at Try it on Tuesday and this time we would like you to 'Powder Your...…….     In other words Use Powders in your project, this could be Embossing Powders, Mica Powders,  Brushos etc, just tell us what you use.

I've used Brusho Powders for my background, stamped part of one of the rose images from Tim Holtz Lady Rose set and then coloured this with Rose Red  and Leaf Green Brushos mixed with the Brusho Thickening Powder.  The sentiment was stamped with Archival and then heat set using Clear EP.  I've also added a little 2nd generation crackle stamping for interest.

The rest of the Design Team have some inspiration for you using a variety of  'Powders'  so please pop over to the main blog for all the details.

Have a great day,
Avril xx

  1. Seems everyone is using brushos and I have never seen them in my craft stores. Your rose is so delicate and romantic. I adore it. One question: what is 2nd generation crackle stamping? I have never heard of it, but apparently the effect is fabulous because I love what you created.

  8. Such a pretty, delicate card, Avril. I keep forgetting about the thickening powder I bought at the same time as the Brushos - duh! I must give it a go because your flowers have turned out beautifully. A very romantic effect and I love the subtle background.

  19. This is so pretty Avril from shape to colour to stamp composition I love it all. I'm left wondering who received this beauty how lucky they would be!! Thank you for sharing and so sorry i'm late visiting. I've lost track of weeks and seem to have lost a couple along the way so made a note to spend my Saturday Morning with the lovely TioT ladies, so glad I did.
    Now I feel all inspired...
Wishing you a super weekend Hugs Tracey xx
