Spring Flowers





I've been having another play with my new wildflower stems, how gorgeous are these dies and so easy to colour with distress inks.    I embossed some core-dinations card with the Botanical EF and sanded it to enhance the pattern before layering my flowers.  I've added the smaller of the two Tattered Butterflies and used a pen nib for the body, which I rubbed with Bronze and Gold gilding wax, which has a nice sheen, but doesn't show in the photo.

    They look beautiful, Avril. Can't wait for mine to arrive - I think they've taken the slow boat...lol. Love your flutterby, too - presumably the tatty one? Beautiful colours and I love your embossed background :-)

    Its a fabulous card Avril, the embossed background is a super colour for the flowers. The butterfly looks gorgeous as well.
