Stamping Sensations GD

Hello - I'm thrilled to have been asked to be a Guest Designer at one of my favourite challenge blogs, Stamping Sensations for this months challenge which is  Somewhere Over the Rainbow,  you can find all the details and see the amazing DT inspiration here.

One of the options of the challenge is to use Rainbow colours, so I opted for a Rainbow background using - Candied Apple, carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Peacock feathers, Salty Ocean and Wilted Violet, yes all 7 colours!  To soften the lines I spritzed with water, letting it sit for a couple of minutes before dabbing dry.  I stamped the flowers from Tim's Flower Garden onto water colour paper and coloured using the same Rainbow colour inks with a water brush.

    I LOVE rainbow backgrounds, Avril and this is gorgeous. I also love those floral stamps and really must use them more this year :-) Great card. Congratulations on your GD spot ;-)

    Morning Avril,

    You already know I love your creation, the Oxides have worked beautifully on the background blending just right to merge without losing their individual colour as sometimes they do. And well done on cutting all those blooms to sit atop to finish you card perfectly.

    My thanks for being being our Guest Designer at Stamping Sensations this month.

    Also adore your yellow fashion creation below, sorry I missed it in the week, it's not been a good one!
