Pink Poppy


Hello!  I'm still around - I just don't seem to be in control of time these days .  I've still been crafting, but there's never enough time and nothing seemed to get finished, but I did plan ahead for today's rain and I'm enjoying a day in the craft room and have managed to put together a couple of cards.

This gorgeous poppy has been sitting on my desk just waiting for a sentiment for well over a week. so I stamped the Tim Holtz words and clear embossed and then inked up some backing card with Picked Raspberry to tone in with the poppy.

    This is gorgeous, Avril. Love that subtle stencilling and the flower is beautifully coloured. One of my favourite images :-) Hope it's happy busy - that's all that matters!

    Well what can I say Avril other than I adore your creation, the fact it's a Poppy does sway me somewhat but equally I love the subtle patterns of the background which compliment the colour of the Poppy.

    This is a super creation Avril, the poppy stands out so well on the subtle background. I too am losing track of my days, I've just returned from a fortnight down in Cornwall and am desperately trying to catch up with everything!!!
