It's time for a new challenge at Try it on Tuesday and for this fortnight we would like to see Colours of Autumn.
I've used an inky piece of left over background from a while ago, and for my main image I've used an Artistic Outpost image, coloured with Distress Inks. I've added some skeleton leaves and some tiny pinecones collected on a recent walk.
The rest of the Design Team have some fabulous inspiration, so please pop over to the main blog for all the details.
I am going to enter this at Allsorts - where the challenge is Make Your Own Background, and also at Stamping Sensations - Trees/Leaves/Autumn challenge.

That's a scrumptious card - and makes me realise I've not inked up any of my Artistic Outpost stamps for ages. Beautiful autumn colours.

Such autumnal beauty! I love your inky background with the leaves and the rural scene captures a beautiful autumn day too 😁. Thanks for the inspiration and wishing you a wonderful week! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteA wonderful piece, Avril
ReplyDeleteOkay, Avril, you and Alison with real live stuff on your art, very cool! And Cath hunts mushrooms. I only ever collected pinecones when we had pine trees in our front yard from up! haha And of course, my heart is left right here at your post. The further away in time we get from Artistic Outpost blog being active, the more precious these stamps become to me. My happy heart loves seeing that you still use them too and they make your piece even more beautiful! Have a great week! xoxo
ReplyDeleteWonderful piece with my fave colours Avril! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteAutumn at its best, dry weather and leaves in all shades of yellow and red. Fantastic background, lovely image and those little pine cones are the icing on the cake.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colours, Avril...I still have some AO stamps I haven't yet used but I did love them. That was their 'logo' image, wasn't it? Love your leaves and pine cones!
