Inspired by a Song/ or Carol

The new challenge at Try it on Tuesday this fortnight is Inspired by a Song/Carol.

Can you guess mine?

Sleigh Ride - although it was the line 'It's lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you' and I was amazed at how many cover versions there are - here's a link to one.

I've used  Tim Holtz Retro Christmas and built up my snowy scene after stamping the sleigh.

The rest of the DT have some fabulous songs/carols inspirations for you, so please visit the main blog where you will also find all the challenge details.

This is a schedule post as I'm hopefully enjoying some sunshine and a cold drink to celebrate a rather special birthday for hubby!

Have a great day, whatever you're doing,
Avril xx

  1. Love your 'retro' Christmas scene, Avril. I always forget my Frantage snow... must get it out to remind me! Your hills, trees and sky look perfect. Hope you're enjoying some sun right now. Enjoy your break :-)

  20. I was close... my first thought was "Dashing through the snow, in a one horse open sleigh" - but of course that couldn't be right because you've got two horses! Gorgeous detail in that silhouette and the snowy sky is simply beautiful.
