Lady in Red

It's DIL's birthday this week and I waned to do something feminine, so inked up my neglected Runway Girls.  The background card was already embossed and at the bottom of the 'background' box, so I sprinkled on some Rose Red Brushos and did some second generation background stamping.  My 'girl' was stamped and coloured with DIs and layered over a piece of mop up paper.  It's a while since I added flowers, but as it was being hand delivered I used the Tim Holtz Tiny Tattered roses and Garden Greens dies.

I am going to enter this at Stamping Sensations where this months challenge is Feminine and also at Allsorts  Challenge where this weeks theme is Dies and /or Punches.

Hope you're staying safe this weekend as Storm Dennis approaches, I must say it's not as bad here as I expected - hope I haven't spoken too soon.

Avril xx

  3. This is a beautiful card for your daughter-in-law, Avril. I am sure she will love it. And: Brushos on embossed paper? Oh what a great inspiration! Thank you for this. As for the flower, they are a gorgeous attachment. Kisses, my friend.

  4. Love your pretty card. The image is gorgeous. So elegant. The storm is pretty bad here. Have just had a small tree go over in the back garden. Sheered off completely . There is about a foot left sticking up out of the ground. Have thethered it back together to stop it from blowing around the garden and causing more trouble. Hope your staying safe. Hugs Mrs A.
