Share the Love at Try it on Tuesday

It's time for a new challenge at Try it on Tuesday and because February is the 'month of love'
we're asking you to Share the Love with your projects this time,  be it Valentine, Wedding/Anniversary or Engagement.

I've made an Anniversary card using the new Tim Holtz 3D Rose embossing folder.  After embossing I used Antique Linen DI to randomly stamp a script in the background,  shade the rose and the background.  Although it's difficult to see, I also highlighted the raised areas of the rose with gold wax which compliments the gold embossed sentiment.

The rest of the DT have some fabulous inspiration for you, so please pop over to the main blog, where you will also find all the challenge details.

Thanks for calling in,
Avril xx

  13. Stunning card, Avril. I thought you'd used moulding paste incredibly well...isn't that folder gorgeous? Your gold highlights make such a difference but my favourite part is the stamped text. I bet this is a real stunner in real life. Shame we can't always show that clearly enough...the subtle bits are often the most stunning.

  16. Oh, this card makes me so so happy! I've been eyeing that new embossing folder, but all the "samples" seemed to use really bright full-on colours with it, and I'd been wondering (of course) how it would look in more neutral, delicate tones... and here you've given me the answer. It's absolutely gorgeous! The subtle shimmer is a bonus treat on this delicate, pretty card.
