To me Snowdrops always mean that Spring is just around the corner, the nights will start getting lighter and Mother Nature is slowly waking up. So when I saw the theme at Tag Tuesday this time was Spring is in the Air, I dug out this old Elusive Images (now Chocolate Baroque) stamp.
Stamped with Versafine Clair and heat embossed with clear EP, it was then given a watery wash of Old Paper DI and them some watery splatters with Twisted Citron DI before I coloured the leaves.
The snowdrops in my garden are always a welcome sight on a dreary day.

This is gorgeous, snowfalls are such beautiful harbingers of spring. Thanks so much for joining us at Tag Tuesday, much appreciated. Have a great weekend, hugs, Valerie

ReplyDeleteLovely tag and sure love the snowdrops..x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Avril, the simplicity of the background lets the beautiful blooms shine through, we used this image one for this months Hochanda shows an it's a popular now as ever. Those in my garden are in flower as well but sadly being rather battered by the weather.

I couldn't agree more Avril, snowdrops herald a new time and are so pretty, I just think this is gorgeous and the colour is soft and sweet.xx
ReplyDeleteThere’s nothing nicer than drifts of snowdrops across the countryside, because, as you say, they are a herald of spring....they are out here but that didn’t stop us from having snow squalls yesterday!

ReplyDeletePretty tag, Avril. Here where I live on the Texas coast, snowdrops bloom in winter, so they bloomed maybe a month ago here. We do have blooming bulbs but our Spring Is Here bulbs are caladiums. XOX
