I was quite reluctant to visit garden centres when they first re-opened after lockdown, but this week I felt they would be much quieter, so on Wednesday we had our first venture out - I was worried I was becoming agoraphobic! So, after a busy few days I now have pots and baskets full of plants just waiting to bloom, I just have to be patient - so my journal page reflects my feelings.
It looks like this lovely weather is set to stay with us for a few more days, so enjoy the weekend.

Great page, Avril - lovely and loose - and oh what true words! I don't know about you but I get more impatient with myself than with anyone else. I can't wait to get my baskets done, either. I'm only really waiting for one more plant, having bought the rest from local supermarkets and almost risked going to my local market today, just in case the plant (and veggie) stalls were there. At least they're more likely to be there next week. Hopefully, this weather will do yours good :-) Enjoy it while you can!

ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about going out ...... I was terrified!! A trip to the post office a couple of weeks ago was very surreal. I was literally in and out and back home in no time. I've still no desire to brave the suermarket though I'm sure it will get easier in time. Stay safe and enjoy your gardening.
