Welcome back to part two of my take on the Funkie Junkie's 12 Tags of Christmas which is sponsored by the Funkie Junkie Boutique. So here goes with the next 3,
Week 4
I used Linda's inspiration with the poinsettia, I used Antique Linen distress paint on a heavy card base and when it was dry, splashed on some gold paint. I kept the stenciling to one corner and initially masked off the holly leaves as Linda suggested.
A little bit out of order now
Week 6
I love Kraft on white, so I virtually cased Linda's tag adding a little pop of red too.
Week 8
Again I followed Linda's inspiration apart from the missing lamp post.
Not much personal inspirations with this little lot, but I'm happy with them and being able to case Linda's tags means I have a good chance of finishing the 12, fingers crossed!!

ReplyDeleteLovely soft reds - the airbrushed look from the stencilling and spray is great. Fantastic version of the kraft and white too - just gorgeous!

I love seeing how you are interpreting my originals, Avril. All three are lovely. I especially like the third one where you have replicated the waste sheet I had from spraying poinsettia layers - very cool effect. I'm so glad you are enjoying this challenge. You are really on a roll to make the deadline of next Monday!

Linda
The white on kraft card, is stunning, as are your other cards. You have been busy and creative with these cards.

All 3 are lovely but my favourite of them is the Kraft & white one :-)

They are all grand - the red Poinsettia one made me smile. If that doesn't say Christmas I don't know what does!!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Avril!

Three different cards, but each of them looks so great. My favourite card is the one with the little girl, such a nice Vintage motif.
