I've used 3 kinds of tissue on my card, the base was gift wrap tissue that I've had for a little while just waiting for the right time to be used, alright, it had been hoarded! My image was stamped onto tissue and then glued onto a printable canvas paper which has a rather shiny finish that I don't really like - so a good way of using this up.
The flowers and leaves were all cut from a napkin and glued around the oval frame, after I'd used Crackle paste and Walnut stain Distress ink over most of the card.

Well, that's it - holidays all over and back to normal and hopefully normal blogging and crafting will be resumed.

Best wishes for the new year!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful vintage number. I've actually got plenty of paper napkins, before I started with stamping and card making I was into decoupaging wooden elements and boxes, something I haven't done for several years. I've never tried using paper napkins on cards yet, it's a great idea.
A very elegant design Avril. Love the variety of tissue you've used on your beautiful card. So clever!
