I was really pleased to be asked to be a Guest Designer at Allsorts challenge blog where the theme this week is Butterflies.
One of my favourite butterfly stamps is this gorgeous Swallowtail from Tim Holtz, and as it hasn't been inked up for a while, was an obvious choice, I've also used a favourite background stamp from Crafty Individuals, and a mix of Abandoned Coral and Spiced Marmalade for the background.
The team at Allsorts have some gorgeous inspiration for you, so please pop over to the main challenge, where you will also find all their challenge details.
Thanks for calling in and I hope you have a lovely Bank Holiday weekend, the twins are having a sleepover tonight - I just hope I don't get woken up at 5.30 in the morning with shouts of 'Grandma we've had a lovely sleep' like last time!

Congrats on the GDT Avril, your card is stunning. Love the TH butterfly and the colours are so warm and yummy. Your background and stencilling are just beautiful.
Have fun with the twins, fingers crossed they sleep well and late :)) xx
I loved this as soon as I saw it and thought you had used patterned paper. The stamp works so well in the background and the butterfly looks gorgeous. A great composition. Thanks for being our GDT at Allsorts.

This is so pretty Avril! A beautiful butterfly and background! Hope the twins don't wake up too early but isn't it fun to spend time with those grandchildren?
Sorry I'm so late getting here Avril, been a bit hectic last few days with Birthday's, so belatedly thank you for being our Allsorts Guest Designer this week and with such a beautiful card.
