'L' for Lace at Alphabet

Hi Folks, its time for another letter over at Alphabet Challenge and this week its Team B - and we have 'L for Lace'  chosen by yours truly.
For my DT piece I have used IndigoBlu's Elizabeth Bennett for the main image, coloured with Distress Markers.  My lace is TH Tattered Doily and an extra strip of crochet lace. The flowers are made using the Floral strip die.
My very talented teamies have some wonderful inspiration for you, so please pop over here.  Don't forget, we now do a Top 3 for each challenge and offer a Winner's badge.

I am entering this at:
Southern Girls - No Spoolin (no ribbon/twine or cotton)
Rhedd and Rosies - Anything Goes
Crafting for all Seasons - Bingo (top line - pink- flowers and blue)
  Crafty Cardmakers - Birthday
Totally Papercrafts - Make your own Flowers

I am pleased to report that the Wedding Invitations are finished - whew!
Now - just Order of Service, Place Cards, Table Settings Menus and Thank You cards left to finish - why did I offer a design with more than one die cut -  I have been die cutting in the garden this week - it looks as if someone has sprinkled confetti!!

That's it for now, I think a little bit of 'me' crafting time is in due tonight, and I hope to do some catching up in Blogland later.

It's 'Happy' at Alphabet Challenge!

Hello and welcome, lovely to see you visiting.
It's time for another Alphabet Challenge and its the letter 'H' and this time its Team B's turn and Shaz  has chosen 'Happy', so as long as we see 'Happy' on your cards, the choice is yours!

I needed to make an Anniversary card, I used white pearl card for my base and I embossed the Tim Holtz Bookcover EF onto the same pearl card.  I cut a mat and a scalloped oval Nesti from a shell pink pearl card. The sentiment, which was computer generated, was printed onto the pearl card, flowers and a blace Marianne swirl to complete.

I hope you will join us with your 'Happy' cards.

I am entering this in:
Going Grey with Scrap Creations - Graduahttp://scrap-creations1.blogspot.co.uk/tion/Wedding Anniversary
Moving Along with the Times - Embossing
Crafts and Me - Lots of Layers
Sisterhood of Crafters - Sentiment - No image

I hope you all have a great Bank Holiday weekend and hopefully the sun might shine!

F - Fantasy

Hello and welcome to another letter in the Alphabet Challenge, this time its  'F'  for ...Fantasy

and we would love to see how you interpret  'Fantasy.'  I have have Fairies at the bottom of my garden, well I wish I had, they might do a bit weeding now and then .....although this one certainly doesn't look like a Gardener!
I have used the TH Cabinet card dies, cut the arch from DP that looks like stone, then cut  2 extra frames and covered these with the paper, these were layered with foam pads over the image which is Lost Coast Design,  to give depth, as if she was 'hiding'  The flowers are from the Tattered Floral Strip die, another new purchase bought with 'stash' money left over from Harrogate.
If you need any inspiration, the rest of the DT have some great makes, so please pop over here to take a look.  Don't forget, we now pick a Top 3 and have a great Winners badge for you.

I am entering this at:
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Sisterhood of Crafters - Anything Goes
Creative Card Crew - Handmade flowers
Oldie but a Goodie- Make it Girly  (image is old)

Thats it for now,  hope you all have a great weekend.

It's E for Emeralds at Alphabet Challenge.

Hi Folks,

Its time for another letter at Alphabet Challenge and this time it's 'E' and the challenge is to use Emerald Green on your project.
Not a colour I would normally use - but  that's what challenges are for - to take us out of our comfort zones!
My image ' Madam Berth'  by Stamps Happen was coloured with Promarkers, I also stamped a LaBlanch swirl down the right-hand side with a mix of Crushed Olive and Peeled Paint DI's. The background  is an old K&Co paper and a cream embossed panel that was distressed with the same DI's, not sure what make the folder is, but they were 2 for £3.99 at GNP.  Bargain!!

We would love you to join us and show us your 'Emeralds' and if you need any inspiration, the rest of the DT have some wonderful creations to show, so please pop over here to take a look

I am entering this at
  Paper Crafting Journey - Monochromatic
Rhedd &amp ;Rosies challenge - Monochromatic

Thats it for now, and I would just like to say 'thank you' for all the lovely positive comments I've received lately, especially as I've been such a neglectful visitor, just managed to keep up on DT comments!
We had a very positive day last Saturday,we are now organised with the 4 Bridesmaids dresses,  just wish she would make her mind up on Stationary, I think she thinks I can do it in a weekend!!

Hope you all have a good weekend.

D is for..

Hi Folks, its time for another letter in our Alphabet Challenge and this time its D for Daffodil.
Lesley, our wonderful leader has decided to retire and this is the last one she will be hosting, so please give her a challenge to remember and join us.  Luckily, Shaz has agreed to step in and take over the reins, so I am sure we will continue to be in safe hands.
My image was stamped last year when I attended a workshop run by Jill Tuck from the Stampman, and she kindly let us play with with various stamps that she had brought along, so thanks Jill.
I couldn't remember what inks had been used, so I played safe and coloured the image with my Karismacolor pencils, I haven't used these since buying Promarkers - but they were so nice to use again.
I used chalks to soften the image and DI Vintage Photo to distress the edges.
The sentiment is computer, as I always think of Daffodils and Easter.
We would love it if you could join us for this challenge, and if you take a look here, you will see what my creative  teamies have for your inspiration.

I am entering this at:
  4Craftychicks - Easter
  Crafty Creations - Easter
  Loves Rubberstamps - Easter
  ABC - Easter

I hope you all have a Happy Easter whatever you're doing.
