Summer Blooms at We Love Stamping

It's time for a new challenge at We Love Stamping and this month I chose the theme of Summer Blooms, but if you want you can always go with A/G.

This month we have prizes from Buddley Crafts - just remember to be eligible to win you must include real stamping on your project.

I've used one of my favourite stamps, although it probably only gets used once or twice in the summer months, the roses from Tim Holtz Lady Rose,  which were stamped onto an inky  Peacock feathers splattered background.  The leaves took the colour well using Inktense pencils, but the flowers - hmm not so good, so I stamped them again, coloured and fussy cut and applied over the originals.  I masked the rose spray and then stamped an old IndigoBlu crackle stamp, again using Peacock feathers Di for some interest on the background.
