Let's Get Messy at Try it on Tuesday

 It's time for a new challenge at Try it on Tuesday and this fortnight we're getting messy, so I decided to dust off my journal - I haven't done any journaling for ages and I really enjoyed making this page.

I started with a watery coat of gesso, then some ink sprays.  I stamped my image - Freya from Art Journey stamps and then added some torn napkin.  There's some random music script in the background to tie in with the words.

Mid Month At Stamping Sensations - Anything Stamped with Option of Sketch

 

It's mid month inspiration time at Stamping Sensations, where we have a sketch option.

I've used Tumbled Glass for the inner and Chipped Sapphire for the outer shading, I used the mask again  so that my flower appeared to be peeking out of the circle.  I also stamped again onto white card and fussy cut the flowers and one of the leaves.

All You Need is Love at Try it on Tuesday

 All You Need is Love is the new challenge at Try it on Tuesday, it can be any LOVE related project, so I've made an Anniversary card.

I began with a moon mask and I shaded with Tumbled Glass DI.  I then positioned my Lavinia hares so that they appeared to be kissing and stamped with Black Versafine, I added some greenery using Shady Lane Versafine Clair and a little bit of pencil work to 'ground' them.  The top layer was adhered with foam tape for a little dimension.  The Sentiment was stamped and heat set with silver EP.

Anything Stamped with Sketch Option at Stamping Sensations

I decided to create a  Spring themed wreath using stamps from Lavinia and then stamped my fairy in black Versafine.  I stamped her wings again on vellum and heat set with clear EP, fussy cut and added stickles for a translucent effect.

Winter Blues at Try it on Tuesday

 

The new challenge at Try it on Tuesday is Winter Blues 

 

 Joan, one of my fellow teamies at TioT  used a Sweet Poppy frame Stencil a while ago, and I couldn't resist the temptation and had to have one.

I've used Chipped Sapphire DI to colour the frame and stamped the 'girls' with  Versafine Twilight.  I used a Quickie Glue pen to draw around the snowflakes and swirls and added glitter for a lovely sparkly finish, there's also a good helping of white flowersoft  on the umbrella along with shaved ice for the 'ground' snow.

Mid Month Add Some Sparkle Highlights at Stamping Sensations

It's mid month inspiration time at Stamping Sensations for the current challenge which is Add Some Sparkle Highlights, and don't forget, there's a fabulous prize from Highlight Crafts for one luchy random winner.

I've made a little fairy scene with various Lavinia stamps with most of the stamping done in black apart from the star clusters which were stamped and heat embossed with Silver Razzle Dazzel EP.  I've added various shades of glitter to her wings and the foliage, so there's lots of sparkle.

 I've decided to start a 'Fairy Journal' - I'll add some text to make little stories and hopefully it will be something Lucy will enjoy in a year or so - this will be the first page of many.

More New Stash

We're midway in our first challenge at Try it on Tuesday  and the Design Team are again showing more 'new' inspiration.

I bought new stamps from Lavinia to make Christmas cards, but time ran out on me and they didn't get inked up, so before I put the Christmas stamps etc. away,  I had to have a play.  I stamped the Pinecone branch, then added the small holly and winter berry.  The winter words were stamped and heat embossed using gold EP.  I used a red gel pen to add colour to the holly berries.  There's little dots of gold glitter around the wreath, but of course they don't show.
