I'm keeping up with my aim to do at least 1 journal page a month, and I've used a mix of old and new stamps. The girl is an old Flonzcraft stamp, the flowers are Tracy Evans and the words are craft magazine freebies.
My thinking for this page is new beginnings in the circle of life and nature.

This really is absolutely lovely Avril! When I was a girl I used to pick flowers for my Mum in a local orchard, (the neighbour welcomed them being picked) As the day of my Mum's birthday approaches it has evoked some lovely memories. Hugs, Chrisx

Such a bright and uplifting spread. The mix of older and newer stamps gives the page a lovely sense of continuity, and the way the flowers frame the girl reinforces that feeling of renewal you were aiming for. The yellow palette keeps everything light and hopeful, and the open space lets the imagery breathe. A beautiful take on Spring and a wonderful monthly page.
