I am having a 'day in' today, thought I better considering I was out with friends for lunch again yesterday, planned to spend some 'quality time' with DH, but he has gone to the pub with a friend to watch the football - and I didn't mind, after all I do have some new stamps to ink up!
I had a few birthday cards to make in November last year, took the photos, but didn't get the chance to show them. I tend to do 'girlie' cards for a lot of my friends and this is one of them. I have used my Clarity stamp - Sketchy Lady with black and white papers and red punched border, ribbon and pearls for a 'sophisticated' look! I have folded the front of the card back on itself, before adding the image. I did try black Promarkers for her dress, but it was too dense, so have used Distress Ink - Black Soot. I gave her a 'diamond' necklace which I think you can just see in the piccy.
I am going to enter this card in
Papertake Weeklys challenge - Ribbons & Pearls
Lets Ink It Up Challenge is Anything Goes
I found a new challenge at Glenda's Papers,Scissors and Rocks by
Glenda which is to use red on you project, so I am entering it there as well.
It was also 'craft buddy' Diane's birthday in November and I used some Clarity stamps that I had just bought (and somehow kept a secret from her - the card had to be something she hadn't seen before).

This one is Velvet Lady and a Lamppost stamp.
I used my Clarity swirl and heat embossed with Versamark and clear and gold embossing powders on the base card. I coloured the lady with Promarkers and chalked around her.
I am going to enter this card in
Lets Ink It Up Anything Goes as well - not sure if this is allowed, but I do see multiple entries in some challenges, so it must be.
Oh, I nearly forgot, I won over at Craft your Passion for 'Tie One On'!
Well thats my second post today, so time to use the new House Mouse stamps.
Thanks for looking, and if you like what you see, please visit again.
