It's mid month inspiration at Stamping Sensations for our Spring Mood board.

                             

 This time around I took the bird and Daisey for my inspiration and gave it a fun element.  After making the background I coloured and fussy cut the  TH Crazy birds, incorporating the pink and blue colours from the board.

Inspired by a Song at TioT

The new challenge at Try it on Tuesday is Inspired by a Song - my choice was .....bet you can guess -  Lady in Red.

I've used Graphic 45  Couture stamps and papers, I do love this elegant lady and I've given her a 'real' feather for her fan.

Spring Mood board at Stamping Sensations

                             

The new challenge at Stamping Sensations with a Spring themed Mood Board for inspiration.

I decided to create another page in my journal using the pink blossom and Eiffel Tower for my inspiration.  I've used a couple of older stamps from Crafty Individuals CI-260 andCI-156 along with a Stampendous Blossom Spray.

Rainbow Colours at TioT

 

Our new challenge at Try it on Tuesday is Rainbow Colours.

I've used the large flower from Visible Image - stamped onto white card and then I stamped again onto watercolour paper and fussy cut just the bloom, and then dropped  rainbow colours of diluted ink.  Before attaching the bloom I splattered the same colours onto the white card base.

Use a Stencil at TIoT

 Our new challenge at Try it on Tuesday is Use a Stencil - a great way of adding interest to your cards..

I've used a mop up background and then used  White Gloss Embossing paste through a Wendy Vecchi stencil before stamping my Freesia image which was coloured with Distress inks and pencils.

Spring at TioT

 Spring is the new challenge at Try it on Tuesday and we would love to see your Spring themed projects.

I have used a gelli plate background with fresh spring colours and as there's quite a few daisies showing in the lawn, I decided that's what my TH wildflower die cuts would be, just colouring the centres and leaves.

Things have been very quiet in the craft room, in fact this is my first actual make of the year and I've not done any visiting, but hopefully I'm on the mend and will be catching up with you (and real life) soon.

Spring/Anything Goes at Stamping Sensations

I love Freesia and they always remind me of Spring, I've used a CB stamp on linen card and coloured the flowers with pencils in shades of yellow and stencilled a background using Twisted Citron DI.

Animals/Birds/Creatures/AG at Stamping Sensations

Good morning, it's the first Sunday of the month and that means it's time for a new challenge at Stamping Sensations - lots of scope this month with a theme of Animals/Birds/Creatures as well as the Anything Goes option.

I didn't get to 'play' with my Lavinia Pheasant before Christmas so time to remedy that, and put one in the box for next Christmas!  I inked the sky with Distress Oxides and then using Black Versafine, built up the scene using various Lavinia Stamps trees and finally added the pheasant and lots of glitter.

Add Some Text at Try it on Tuesday

Our new challenge at Try it on Tuesday is  Add Some Text - stamped, printed or hand written, it's up to you.

I wasn't prepared with this challenge and after not crafting for a couple of weeks, I decided to just do 'something' - no pressure if it didn't turn out right  - something for fun!  I've had this image, cut out from a magazine,  for ages and the quote, which |I heard somewhere, always stuck with me, so  I printed the quote out and cut apart.  The background was an experiment I did a while ago with inks and an acrylic block and I thought the colours perfectly suited this girl.  Some hand doodling around the edges and  done!

January Mid Month at Stamping Sensations

 

It's mid month inspiration time for the January Mood board at Stamping Sensations where you can choose your inspiration from the pictures.

This time I've chosen the RED flowers as my inspiration.

I've used an old A&C  border stamp (233).   I haven't stamped the whole image as I wanted to add a Happy Birthday sentiment.  My flowers were stamped again, coloured and fussy cut before adding.   The background was an inky mop up which was stencilled with Tumbled glass.

I've not been around much this year due to an ear infection from h***   but hopefully 2nd lot of antibiotics will clear it.

Winter Blues at Try it on Tuesday

 Our first challenge at Try it on Tuesday Winter Blues is and we would love you to join in with your Blue projects.

I've used a stencil from Sweet Poppy with Chipped Sapphire DI and stamped the snowy house with Twilight Versafine Clair, there's lots of snowy glitter, but of course it doesn't show.

Stamping Sensations January Mood board

 

A slightly belated Happy New Year to You. 

We're starting the New Year at Stamping Sensations with a January Mood Board and there's lots of inspiration from images to colour, and there's wonderful prizes of stamps and stencils from ALL&Create, so please pop over to the challenge home page for all the details.

I took inspirations from the red gowns featured in two of the pictures and used these elegant ladies which is an old Flonzcraft stamp.  I paper pieced the red dress and added a fun quote.

I'm pleased we're getting back to normal now,  Christmas and New Year were hectic and then we've had the twins 3rd Birthday! plus I've had a nasty throat and ear infection which didn't help.
