Its time for another challenge over at Fashionable Stamping and this time its 'Birds'
It seems ages since I crafted, as I've had a viral infection which left me so tired I just couldn't be bothered to do anything, so when I eventually made my DT piece I wanted to do something 'pretty'. I don't have a lot of bird stamps, and when I've used my Tim Holtz Bird in the past its always ended up rather 'masculine', this time I was determined it would be 'feminine'. After stamping the image I used the TH Floral Swirl and some grass stamps for a border. I used the Swirl, this time stamped in Tumbled Glass for the base card. I embossed the image with a TH Bookframe EF before distressing with TG and Vintage Photo. The mat for the image is again the embossed Bookframe, but just distressed with the TG. The small roses were made with the Tattered Floral dies smallest petals.

Stunningly feminine and ethereal card Avril - I really love it with its blue tones. The swirls and foliage stamping with that triple framing are totally stunning. The bow is perfect, as are the roses. I would leave this on display all year if I were you! I hope you are back to 100% very soon and in the meantime take it easy on yourself. Nicola x
