I decided to make my own twine from 2 bits of frayed burlap, I died one piece with Aged Mahogany and then when dry, twisted them together, now what to do with them.
A short while ago the lovely Ignacio of Nicecrane Designs very kindly gave me some Mark Twain images to 'play with', and when I saw this sentiment (Peerless Designs) at the weekend, I knew how I was going to use it. My image is coloured with Distress Markers and inks. The corrugated cardboard gave a lovely surprise when I started to rip it and found it was double core, so apart from a light distressing with some Tumbled ~Glass DI, that was it.

Your card board background is wonderful - looks like rusted tin and your homemade twin hits the spot. It looks like old timey twine really perfect for Huckleberry Fin.
