Catwalk Time

Hello,   I've been playing with the Runway Girls again, although I've only inked one up so far, but the same little lady was screaming out to be centre stage on this card.
Over at FSC, Shirley made a cascade side fold card for our 100th challenge which you can see here, and  she was also kind enough to provide a template and instructions for this design in her post here.
I couldn't wait to give it a try and this is my little version.

I stamped my lady on the front and 2 of  the pages, masked, and then stamped the Papillion script.  I used the TH Wildflower stencil, and the words are cut from an Inkylicious stamp.

A little Glamour Dust o finish, well, the Catwalk is all about the Glam!  This all folds flat and fits in a DL envelope. Thanks Shirley,  I will definitely be doing this design again.

I am entering this at:
Everybody Art Challenge - Multi Fold card                                                                                                      That Craft  Place - Layers                                                                                                                             Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Thanks for your visit today, I do appreciate it.  Hope you have a good week.

Runway

New glasses and a little bit of crafting time with new stamps - what more could any girl ask!
This was going to be 'flat' for posting, but then I couldn't resist adding some flowers.  I've got a few 'girly' cards to make so you will be seeing more of these Runway stamps and maybe even some 'flat' ones.
As always, thank you for visiting.

Time for Tea at TioT

Hello, Thanks for visiting today as I have to tell you about the new challenge at Try it on Tuesday and for this fortnight it's Tea Cups that could also be Coffee Cups/Mugs, we'd love to see your interpretation on this theme as I'm sure we all love our 'cuppa'
Tea Time/china cups conjures up shabby chic for me, so a pretty pink layout using up some very old Papermania papers and a little 'freebie' stamp from Crafty Individuals coloured with Distress markers.
The rest of the team have some fabulous inspiration for you, so please pop over to the main blog for all the details.
Just a short one from me today, Phase 2 of the craft room revamp took place over the weekend and it's starting to look organised and hopefully crafting will recommence soon.

Butterfly

Hello, well I'm back after a lovely relaxing holiday, and I would like to say Thank you for all the lovely comments on the last 2 scheduled posts, I do appreciate it, and I also have a couple of new followers, so 'Hello' to you, it's lovely that you should want to follow my crafty journey, not that it's been 'going ' anywhere lately, due to 'life' stuff getting in the way.  I did manage to do some catching up on some of your blogs while I was away - before my glasses broke!  and of course they were 3 weeks out of guarantee, so I'm struggling on with some cheapie readers until my 'new' ones are ready next week.
I haven't managed any crafting - even though I did have some new stamps waiting on the mat when I returned, so thought I'd share this card which I didn't have time to blog before the holiday.
A Brusho background with some random script stamping and stencilling, a piece of the Tim Holtz Mixed media die cut which was rubbed with  Creative Expressions Enchanted Gold wax.  My butterfly,  also has a vellum layer. The TH sentiment was stamped with Faded Jeans DI and clear embossed and the torn edges rubbed with the EG wax.
I am entering this at:
Country View Crafts - Shabby Chic
Make my Monday - Dry or Heat Embossing (both on my card)
  The Craft Barn - Butterflies
Stamping Sensations - Dies and punches

That's it for now, hopefully I will get some crafty time to ink these rubber stamps  up now that all the washing and ironing is done.  Thanks for  visiting,
Avril xx

Watches and Clocks is the New Challenge at TioT

Hello,  I didn't have time to write this post up before I came on holiday and I'm not sure my layout will look good,  think I  touched something!  but it's not easy when you are just using a phone, cause silly me forget to sign in to my blog on the ipad  and probably because I'm in a foreign country now, it won't let me.
Anyhow,  it's time to tell you about the new Challenge at Try it on Tuesday,  this fortnight it's Clocks and Watches.
I've used a PaperArtsy clock randomly stamped for my background and spritzed with Vintage photo DS. My main image is Artistic Outpost and the sentiment is Stampendous.
The rest of the team have some great inspiration for you, so please pop over to the main blog for all the details.
I am entering this at :  Artistic Outpost - Show us your Art
 Cards 4 Guyz - Textures

That's it for now,  need to make the most of the sunshine as the weather still sounds unsettled in the UK.
