We don't get snow here in Northern Florida and I know I will miss it. Your scene reminds me of the woods back in the mountains where we used to live. I can feel the calm of your snowy landscape - beautiful!

Such a lovely and peaceful looking scene. I find that the pine branches and the gingham ribbon are what transforms this from a winter scene into a Christmasy one. And I'm sure all the detailing shows up even better IRL, but is beautiful even in the photo.

You are so right about that scene - in different colours it could be any time of the year! This is definitely time for a snowy walk! Hugs, Chrisx
