Just a Number at FSC

Hello, it's time for a new challenge over at Fashionable Stamping Challenges and for this month the theme is 'Just a Number'  You can interpret this any way you like as long as there's stamped numbers on your project.  For all the details and inspiration please pop over to the main blog where the rest of the DT have some wonderful projects to show.

For my project I've used lots of numbers on my inky background, as well as some stamped numbered ephemera.
My main image, the girls from Artistic Outpost's Paper Boys set, was stamped and masked enabling me to overstamp the background.  I coloured the image and also stamped it onto acetate and attached using vintage photo corners to hide the tiny blobs of Glossy Accents holding it in place.  I stamped the Film strip and fussy cut the girls to fit.

It would be lovely to see you join in with this challenge as we have Flonzcraft as our sponsor and they are offering one lucky random winner a $20 spend in their online store.

I am entering this card at:
Craft Stamper - Anything Goes with Stamping
Penny Black and More - Use your Favorite stamp (Love AO's Paper girls)

That's all from me today, thanks as always for calling in.  Have a great day,
Avril xx

So many layers of loveliness here Avril. I really like how you've coloured the children in the main focal image but left the ones in the filmstrip in black and white. It must have been a little time consuming cutting them out but they work perfectly, I love it! Crafty hugs, Sandra x

Hi Avril. There is just so much to love about this! The contrasts of the black and white with highlights of colour are brilliant and so effective...a timeless design altogether. Love the stamps that you have used too.

The detail of the stamping on acetate had me intrigued, so had to look closely at the image and I believe the acetate is the reason for it being so clear with the boldness of the black lines. I like that. And it sort of gives it a photo finish with the glossiness. Lots of bits and pieces here, so cleverly put together.
