I don't know about you, but most of my memories from childhood are of warm summer days, making daisy chains and watching butterflies. Of course it's not true, we would have had rain, sleet, cold and miserable days, but they don't seem to feature in my little world!
So my pages features the fantasy of these days with blue skies, flowers and butterflies.
My image, butterflies and flowers were torn from napkins which came in some happy mail from Yvonne, so a good opportunity to use them on my summer sky background.

Yep, I also remember those sunny days Avril, is it just because we was children or were the summers always like the unusual one we've just had I wonder. It's a great card and the image is such fun, got into napkin art after watching a show demo last year and really enjoy doing it.

Beautiful Avril, my memories are of the same as yours, we lived in a small country town with a huge lake within short walking distance and spent each day there as a child...fun times.

I also remember long hot summerdays and there was always snow in winter. But not in reality. Let's remember good things!
Our minds are very good at remembering the good times, I can honestly say that rainy days only really existed in the winter months for me growing up in Libya or when we came to visit my grandparents in the summer! This spread certainly brought back memories of happy childhood!

What a brilliant page - so fun of fun! I know what you mean about weather in your childhood - I'd swear I spent my whole childhood in either in red shorts or a green seersucker dress but of course they were probably in different years!! Hugs, Chrisx
A lovely page full of happy memories of childhood. Funny how ice cream tasted so good when I was a child and I can never recapture the taste now. A bit like not remembering it raining in summer. Oh happy days.
