A post that isn't a DT post - now that's a rarity these days - although it does fit in nicely with our current challenge at Try it on Tuesday - Traditional Christmas.
I have been trying to make some Christmas cards - I mean it's such a waste if I get new crafty items and don't use them, which was almost the case with these Crafty Individuals stamps which I bought last year and only made one card with them. In my defense, I had stamped some of the images on water colour paper and fussy cut them - now to use them.
I splattered some watercolour card with watered down Tarnished brass stain before stamping the image with Shady Lane Versafine Clair and then added my previously fussy cut and coloured image, raising the pinecone on foam pads and gluing the leaves flat. A touch of Liquid Pearls on the berries and a gold embossed greeting and verse. Well that's another few in the box and I feel better for having used bits up.
Thanks for calling in, have a great day.
Beautiful card Avril, the stamped image is gorgeous. I think we all buy stuff and hardly use, its all very odd :)). Have a happy day.xx
Goreous card, Avril. Have a great day, hugs, Valerie
Really elegant Avril. Funny you mentions Shady Lane, I watched a crafter use that yesterday along with Pinecone and I thought was a lovely colour, pangs of guilt as I don't think mines had seen the light of day yet.
Beautiful card and image-I cannot judge as the pinecone and Robin stamps I have used this year I bought last year and have only just used!
Lovely card Avril, I too bought those stamps last year and only made a couple of cards with them. I love the way you have used them
Beautiful card 👏
A very nice-looking card.
All the best Jan
