Still Glorious

Hello, and thanks for calling in, and I've another card made with the Glorious Bouquet.  I love this stamp, and although I'm not one for colouring images, there's no need to worry about shading as it's such a detailed stamp.  I've used autumn shades of Distress inks to colour and used two of the stamps from the Ornate Trims, and second generation stamping with Antique Linen Oxide to create a worn wallpaper looking background.

I thought I'd share a couple of pictures, I've been feeding a hedgehog every night since August, when I first saw him he was eating the suet and insect pellets I feed the birds with, so it was a trip to the supermarket for dog food the next day.
It must be good, because he has now brought a 'friend',  but now as he/she's coming earlier (7 - 7.15  every night) I find I'm watching anxiously for him/them, hoping he hasn't been knocked down by a car on his way!

Well, that's it for now, have a great weekend,
Avril xx

Glorious Boquet is a perfect name for that stamp Avril as it is beautiful and looks lovely in the Autumnal colours.

Pleased to see you are nurturing the hedgies, we have quite a few much to the annoyance of our terrier who yaps constantly at them every night. One of our DIL's found a baby in our garden a few weeks and was so pleased to tell me when I came back from the shops that she had carefully picked it up and taken it to the top paddock hedge. She was distraught when I told her it probably lived in one of the shrubberies with it's family, forthwith she went to find it and relocate it.

Beautiful Avril - your coloring is fantastic!!!
Never knew Hedgehogs were so cute - the ones I have seen are quite large. I used to feed an albino skunk and then one day he/she just disappeared.

Are the hedgehodges lovely??? SUch a good photos of them!
We have one coming in the garden since August as well nearly every night. The movement sensitive lightning turns on - so I know he is arriving. He wants the food for birds which is always in the garden as we feed the whole year long and he also drinks from our dog's water dish I have seen. And the dogs when they are out in the garden don't mind him even though they hunt normally all the squirrles and cats coming in our garden. But I think my dogs know that hedgehogs are not that easy to get...lol.
I cross my fingers for all of them... it's so sad that so many are killed by cars.

Happy Evening!
Hugs, Susi

That is indeed a pretty stamp and I love the colours that you have used for it. So nice to see hedgehogs about, despite our very rural location we very rarely see any these days:-( here's hoping your visiting pair stay safe before hibernation.
