Romance

Hello, it's time for a new challenge at Try it on Tuesday and as Valentine's day is approaching  we're feeling Romantic.  It's up to you - if you send Valentines we love to see them, or it could be for a Wedding or Anniversary.

I've made a Wedding Anniversary card for a friend who's celebrating their Ruby Anniversary.  I've used one of the Found Relatives framed by a stencilled Cabinet card.  I've also fussy cut the roses from a TH set Lady Rose.

I am entering this at:
  Allsorts - Love

The rest of the Design Team have some great inspiration for you, so please pop over to the main blog, where you will also find all the challenge details.

Thanks for calling in,
Avril xx

Your vintage style artwork is always amazing, Avril. Love the way you used the cabinet dies and the dry embossing is just so evocative. Such a lovely card.

Gorgeous vintage card, really beautiful. I must look for my cabinet card die, I haven't used it lately. Thanks for the kind comments and well wishes on my blog. My cold and cough are much better and I am seeing a specialist on Friday for the other matters, so hope to find help there. Have a great day, hugs, Valerie

How beautifully vintage! I love the base layer texture, is that wallpaper or an embossing folder? I'm sure your card will be well-received. I never knew all the names of these anniversary milestones. Sounds like Ruby will be our next big one. Learned something new today, thanks! xoxo
