White Christmas

Hello and thanks for calling in, I've been a bit of an absent blogger as I needed to get a wiggle on and get some Christmas cards made, and this one fits in as a reminder that you still have another week to enter the current challenge at Try it on Tuesday, which is Cold, Cold, Cold.

I'd bought some Christmas napkins a few weeks ago.

I've used the sky and trees as my background and stamped the small log cabin from Inkylicious and some small deer and a silver embossed sentiment.  Of course, it's cold and snowing so there's some Frantage there as well.  The added bonus is I get four backgrounds from one napkin!

I am entering this at
Penny Black & More where the challenge is Christmas
Country View Challenge - Hand Stamped (although there's a napkin background, everything else is    hand stamped
and also at Addicted to Stamps - Anything Goes

Have a great day,
Avril xx

Its a beautiful card Avril.
I love the napkin you used, napkins work out good value when we can get four cards from one of them, I like the way you added the stamped cabin as well.

Brilliant how you have used the paper napkin To create your background on you4 card. It looks really pretty with the added house and deer.
I am in search for some pretty floral napkins as I have an old sewing table I want to paint and decoupage. Think it will take more than one though! Hugs Mrs A.

Hey Avril! I love your cold, cold cards - beautiful background! My favorite one is the card with the sheep. They look as if they are inviting me in to play in the snow - BRRRRRRR!

This is so pretty Avril. If only the snow didn't require so much work, I would love to live in that scene. Hope the week is going well. Hugs-Erika

What a wonderful winter scene - those napkins were a great find... the treeline makes the perfect setting for that gorgeous little cabin. I hope there's someone inside enjoying seeing all the deer gathered round.
